Elastic belt materials generally consist of rubber, polyester, glue, elastic fibers, etc. Commonly used synthetic rubber: cis-1,4-polyisoprene rubber, cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber. According to different weaving methods, it can be divided into the following types:
1、 Machine woven elastic band: made of cotton or synthetic fibers as warp and weft yarns, interwoven with a set of rubber fibers (latex or spandex) in a certain pattern.
2、 Knitted elastic band: woven using warp knitted weft lining method. Under the action of a hook or tongue needle, the warp thread is connected into a braided chain, and the weft thread is inserted into each braided chain to connect the dispersed braided chains into a belt. The rubber thread is wrapped by the braided chain or clamped by two sets of weft threads. Knitted elastic bands can weave various small patterns, colored stripes, and crescent edges, with a loose and soft texture. The raw material is mostly nylon elastic silk, and the products are mostly used for women's bras and underwear.
3、 Woven elastic belt: also known as spindle woven elastic belt, the warp thread is woven around the rubber wire on an "8" shaped track by a spindle. The body pattern is in a herringbone shape, with a bandwidth of generally 0.3-2 centimeters. The texture is between woven and knitted elastic bands, and the variety of patterns and colors is relatively monotonous, which is mostly used in clothing.
