Elastic bands are commonly used as clothing accessories for clothing sleeves, hem, bras, suspenders, waistbands, corsets, shoelaces, as well as for sports and cultural protection and medical bandages. It is very suitable for clothing products such as underwear, denim pants, baby clothing, sweaters, sportswear, rhythmic clothing, wedding dresses, T-shirts, sun hats, chest size, protective masks, etc.

It can be divided into the following types according to different weaving methods:

1. Weaving elastic bands

Also known as spindle weaving elastic belt, the warp thread is woven according to the "8" shape motion trajectory of the spindle weaving belt around the rubber wire. The body pattern is herringbone shaped, and the network bandwidth is generally 0.3-2 centimeters. The material is close to the middle of knitted yarn and knitted elastic band, and the variety of patterns and colors is simple, making it more suitable for clothing. Elastic belts tend to use non-toxic and harmless TPU as the raw material. And auxiliary elastic cotton modifiers can be added to improve its ductility.

2. Knitted yarn elastic band

It is made of cotton or chemical fibers as warp or fine yarn, and is overlapped with a group of rubber fibers (latex or spandex) according to certain standards.

3. Knitted elastic band

Using the weaving weft lining method to weave, the warp thread is knotted into a braided chain under the function of a hook needle or tongue needle. The weft thread is inserted into each braided chain, and the loose braided chains are combined into a belt. The rubber thread is wrapped by the braided chain or clamped by two sets of weft threads. Knitted elastic bands can be woven into various small and medium-sized patterns, stripes, and crescent shaped edges. The material is loose and soft, and most of the materials are made of cotton elastic silk. The products are mostly used for women's bras and underwear.
